Sponsored Content: 20 Years of Mel-Build. And Still Evolving. Meet Us at IMC21
Meet Us at IMC21 | Booth 131
August 31 – September 3 | Liverpool, UK
Born in Japan, Mel-Build is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. At IMC21, we will showcase our latest In-Situ TEM & FIB Solutions, built on 20 years of experience and continuous development.
Lunch Seminar - Complimentary Lunch Box Included [RESERVE YOUR SEAT]
See What’s New in In-Situ
- ELECRYO - All-in-One In-Situ TEM
- Cryogenic Cooling / Air-Free Transfer / MEMS Heating / Electrical Biasing / Dual-Axis Tilting
- Multiple In-Situ capabilities that once required separate systems are now integrated into a single TEM holder.
- ELECRYO is also being developed with future expansion toward Tensile Testing in mind.
- Cooling. Heating. Biasing. And next, Tensile.
- −100°C Peltier Cooling for FIB
- Cryo Sample Preparation - Without Liquid Nitrogen
Cool samples down to −100°C inside the FIB without using liquid nitrogen. This helps reduce thermal damage to sensitive specimens while simplifying TEM lamella preparation. - Air-Free → Glovebox-Free
With our Cartridge Linkage concept, Mel-Build is developing an Air-Free Workflow across: - Sample Preparation → FIB → TEM
By reducing direct handling of delicate specimens, the workflow helps minimize the risk of sample loss and damage while moving toward future glovebox-free and automated transfer.
We will also showcase Tomography / High-Tilt / SEM In-Situ Solutions
