Abstract Submission

Late Breaking Posters

Abstract submission is open for late breaking posters

Late breaking submissions are invited to report the very latest results in microscopy. This abstract deadline is not intended to be merely an extension of the general submission deadline: instead this is an opportunity for researchers to present the most exciting recent developments in the field.

The late breaking abstract deadline is Friday 26 June 2026

Authors can submit a late breaking abstract for a poster presentation. Authors may submit more than one abstract.

Existing abstract submissions

Following review, you will receive an email via Oxford Abstracts informing you of whether your abstract has been accepted, and with any information you need in regards to presenting your abstract at IMC21.

*Submitters will be notified if their abstract has been successful in early June 2026

Accepted non-invited abstracts must be presented by an author who is registered and has paid to attend the congress in-person. An exhibition visitor registration will not be considered a valid registration to present your work. Failure to register for the conference by Friday 17 July, will result in your work being excluded from the congress.

If you have any questions about the submission process, please email [email protected].
