Your e-Badge

Please scan your QR code upon arrival to print your badge:

You will be able to scan the QR code from your phone. In the interests of sustainability, please do not print out this email unless necessary.

Once you arrive at the main entrance of LEX Exhibition Centre, please go directly to the registration area where our self-service kiosks are located. You will need to hold the barcode in front of the scan light, or just type in your badge reference, email address or name. If you need assistance, please visit the registration query desk.

Please note: if you have not yet paid your invoice for your conference registration, you will need to go to the query desk and speak to an RMS colleague to arrange payment. The self-service terminals will not print your badge.

Lanyards

You can collect your lanyard from the self-service kiosks.

Lanyard colour coding is as follows:

  • Conference & Exhibition Attendees – BLUE Lanyard (sponsored by Zeiss).
  • Exhibitors – BLACK Lanyard

Admission and Name Badges

Entry to the congress sessions is restricted to full congress registrants and those using a company conference pass only, and for security purposes you must wear your badge at all times or you may be refused entry. If you lose your badge, please ask at the registration query desk for a replacement, you will not be able to reprint your badge manually from the self-service kiosks.

Congress badges and company conference passes allow entry to all congress sessions and the exhibition. Exhibition Visitor badges and stand representative badges give access to the exhibition only.

If you have registered to attend the Delegate Welcome Reception or the Gala Dinner. This will be indicated on your badge. Your badge is your TICKET to attend these events.

Pre-congress Workshops

If you have registered to attend any of the pre-congress workshops taking place on Sunday 30 August, you will receive separate email instructions.

PLEASE NOTE: the Pre-congress workshops are taking place the University of Liverpool not at LEX, .

IFSM Young Scientist Assembly (YSA/ECR)

If you are taking part in the YSA/ECR programme, you have already been sent a separate email with final information. The IFSM Young Scientist Assembly is taking place at the University of Liverpool.

Delegate Welcome Reception

Pre-registration is required to attend the Delegate Welcome Reception. If you have registered to attend the Delegate welcome reception, this will be indicated on your badge. The reception is taking place at LEX in Hall 2 from 1830 - 2100.

Security at the Venue

Please be aware that security measures are in place for IMC21.  On arrival at the venue you will see bag security checks and security personnel onsite. This is a measure recommended by the venue but is not indicative of any perceived security concerns.

Accessibility at IMC21

It is possible during busy times that there may be queues and a short waiting time for the security checks and the registration kiosks. If you have accessibility requirements which are likely to make queuing difficult, please feel free to go to the front of the queue and notify a member RMS staff, who will be able to help.

Please note that the exhibition is NOT open to attendees on Sunday 30 August. Access is restricted to authorised personnel for safety and security reasons.

Presenting at IMC21

Full information on presenting at IMC21, can be found at https://www.imc21.org.uk/congress/information-for-presenters.html.

If you are speaking at IMC21, we recommend visiting the Presenter Preview area on Level 2 of the Exhibition Centre ahead of your session. You can pre-load and test your presentation and help to avoid any delays in the sessions between the switch over of presenters.

Posters at IMC21 are being displayed in the Exhibition Hall. You can put your poster up from 0930 on Monday 31 August and you must remove your poster by 1830 on Thursday 3 September. Poster boards are numbered and you can find your poster number in the online programme. PLEASE NOTE that your poster number is NOT the same as your abstract number. Velcro will be provided to fix your poster to the board. If you have any questions, please visit the poster query desk on stand 311 in the Exhibition Hall. How to access the IMC21 Congress App

Step 1. Search for IMC21 download and the App from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
Step 2. Enter the email address associated with your congress booking.
Step 3. Go to your inbox for an email with the One Time Code (OTC) from vFairs.
Step 4. Copy across the OTC from the email to the App in the field called OTC.
Step 5. Update your profile, take a tour of the App and start to network with other delegates.

Catering

Catering outlets are located in the Exhibition Hall and will provide a range of hot and cold food options. If you have registered to attend the conference, this includes a lunch each day of the congress, Monday to Thursday. To redeem your lunch, the catering outlets will scan your badge. Please note that a badge can only be scanned once a day.

If you have registered to attend the Exhibition Only or as a stand representative, lunch is not included but you will be able to purchase food and drink from the catering outlets.

Photography at IMC21

Taking photographs or videos of the submitted or invited presentations is permitted providing you have the consent of the presenter.

There may be several people taking official photographs to record this event and also to use in future promotional material for the RMS. If for any reason you do not wish to be included in these photos, please let an RMS event organiser (on the registration desk) know on the day. 

Wi-Fi Access

Free Wi-Fi will be available at LEX. 

Travel

Please note that taxis and licenced private hire vehicles in Liverpool prefer to be paid in cash rather than by card.

Parking

There are 1450 parking spaces available in the on-site Kings Dock Car Park, with accessible bays and electric charging points on every floor. For more information on parking tarrifs please visit the Liverpool Experience Campus website.

As with all public car parks, please ensure that no valuables are left on display in cars.
